Since we ourselves are a little “crazy” about technology we will talk about technical details here. You don’t need to understand this, but if you are also interested in technical matters, you can delve into them here.
In each float tank, or “egg” as we affectionately call it, there is about 300 liters of water and approx. 350 kg of Epsom salt, which makes a total of about 500 liters of saline solution.
The system is designed in such a way that the entire water is pumped through a multi-stage filtration into an insulated water tank during each visitor, and rounded over the filters another 2-3 times, which enables 100% filtration of all particles and impurities. After and before each subsequent therapy, when the floating tanks are emptied, our employees wash them with running water and disinfect them, thus ensuring a safe and highly hygienic environment for the next user.
The water is extremely clean itself, as no organism or bacteria survive in such a high concentration of salt (as in the Dead Sea). The salt we use in our center is “food grade”, which means that it is safe to consume.
Many people may have already prepared a drink from epsom salt (or bitter salt) at home, which is, among other things, extremely good for cleansing the digestive system and general detox.
In addition to the high salinity of the water, we have developed a special, complex water purification and heating system that includes a combination of chemical, physical and mechanical methods to achieve 100% purified water before and after each float therapy.
As the Epsom solution waits for the next customer in the tank, it also periodically circulates there over all the filters and the titanium heater to constantly heat up to 35.5 degrees. Why titan? Because the salt would eat away even the hardest materials over time. That is why all components of our system are made of acrylic, PVC, INOX and titanium.
An additional advantage of our system is that the water is heated silently and constantly via heating cables, even while you are floating in it.
Therefore it is possible to float for 2 or 3 hours without the water losing its temperature. Heating cables are installed at the bottom of the floating tank.
The float tanks are made of a combination of fiberglass and acrylic, which has an antibacterial effect and is extremely easy to clean.
In the float tank there are 4 LED lights on the bottom that illuminate the water, and an LED “starlight” on the ceiling of the float tank, which creates a very special ambience. The switch for freely turn lights on and off is located inside the float tank.
We have installed vibrational speakers inside the walls, which, as their name suggests, produce sound through vibrations on the surface on which they are mounted and travel through the water to your ears. That’s why the sound while floating in our floors is of much better quality compared to other chambers that have built-in conventional speakers that create an extremely muffled sound over the water.
When designing our floating rooms, we thought of all the smallest details.
The LED lighting works on a motion sensor, which means the lights will be on as long as you’re showering and getting ready to float. When you lie down, the sensor soon goes off.
This also caters to more anxious visitors, as they can simply lift the lid of the chamber to break the complete darkness if they do not find the button inside the chamber for the interior LED lights.
The lid of the float tank opens very easily, as it is assisted by hydraulic arms. The lid can be opened with very little force, even a child could lift it.
At the same time, you don’t have to deal with turning off the lights in the room before you go inside the float tank, as everything is automatic and pre-set, ensuring the highest level of peace of mind before, during and after your floating experience. In this way you can focus on yourself, rather than on what needs to be done.
For the first 10 minutes of your floating experience, the LED lights in the chamber and the music will be on. Then the lights will gradually go out, and the music will slowly fade into the silence until you are greeted by complete darkness and silence.
Our sophisticated system also allows you to preset the length of “fade out” music for each client separately according to their preference.
The walls of our floating rooms are abundantly insulated, and the rooms themselves are located in the float center in such a way that no one walks past them after customers start floating.
The walls were placed on rubber spacers to reduce the transmission of vibrations from the ceiling and floor to the walls, and thus reduce the transmission of noise.
